Laurette Stiles
Laurette Stiles is the vice president of strategic resources for State Farm® Insurance. State Farm's strategic resources department is responsible for conducting and analyzing consumer research, internal consulting and strategy, automobile research in the fields of design, construction and technology, research applicable to home and building design, State Farm's partnerships with other research institutions, and conducting competitor analysis across the industry.
Laurette began her career with State Farm in 1983 as a claim representative. She has extensive experience working in State Farm's operations divisions including Auto and Fire Claims, Auto and Fire Underwriting, Life/Health Management, as well as Human Resources. Laurette also has held numerous leadership roles.
A native of California, Stiles received her bachelor's degree in economics from Vanderbilt University and currently serves as a board member for the Highway Loss Data Institute, as a member of the Research Council for Automobile Repair, and is a certified Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU).
She is also a member of the governing board for the Community Cancer Center in Bloomington, Ill., chair of the Community Cancer Foundation Board, and is a member of the Illinois Center for Violence Prevention board.
Stiles currently resides in Bloomington, Ill. with her husband and three children.
